Heart disease is one of the largest killers in the world today; in 10 years heart disease has claimed over ten million lives in the United Kingdom alone. This awful condition is growing in confidence due to our own lifestyle so its about time we looked at the way we live and make changes to combat the onslaught of heart disease and its dangerous affects.

At some point in their life everyone will come into contact with the ravages of heart disease, even if it isn't themselves that suffers the ill effects of this condition, it is extremely likely that someone they care about will become bedridden in hospital, if not die from this dangerous disease.

We need to find a way of stopping heart disease before it costs even more lives, the only danger of this is the lack of control we have over how other people live.

Only time will tell if we can find a way of changing the way people live to fight the onslaught of heart disease through our own lifestyle decisions. It has taken a great many years for our present lifestyles to become a health problem, but how long will it take to change this?

Education is the key to giving our future generations the chance of living longer, if we can teach the effects of heart disease while our children are a young age, we may be able to stop our future family members from having heart conditions
