Treatment
To someone suffering with depression it can feel like the end of the world, they will need every possible bit of support available to see there is a problem and try to combat it. To treat depression you need to first get them to see there is a problem, they will not be willing to cooperate a lot of the time, and may not even see there is a problem. When the person suffering with depression has finally seen there is an issue, the best course of action is to see a medical professional, someone who is impartial and can talk through the person's problems. Because the sufferer doesn't know the medical professional it can help put them at ease to talk. This method can take time to see real benefits as it takes a few sessions for the sufferer to become comfortable enough to talk in-depth about the feelings they have and the reasons why.
